Looking for Xmas gifts I found this really impressive book about Stan Shaffer´s work/life. I have to admit I´ve never heard of him before (shame one me) but his work between art, fashion and film is absolutely great! “Over his career as icon maker, Shaffer has hung out with everyone from Andy Warhol to Jerry Hall, Carla Bruni to Uma Thurman. With his fine-tuned intuition he reveals the real person beyond these public facades. Unfortunately Stan Shaffer died this year unexpectedly during the final stages of production on this book.” He was 65.
