Starting tomorrow: Burke + Norfolk: Photographs from the War in Afghanistan. An artistic collaboration across 130 years between nineteenth-century British photographer John Burke and Simon Norfolk. Norfolk’s photographs reimagine or respond to Burke’s Afghan war scenes in the context of the contemporary conflict. The exhibition, which was on view at the Tate Modern this year, will be presented in its entirety by Moeller Fine Art Berlin from September 10 thru November 12, 2011, including 30 unpublished works by Burke alongside 30 prints of Norfolk’s new pictures from Kabul and Helmand.
